Hey Fluge,

Ever heard of that crazy Bear Grylls guy, who makes a living out of getting stranded in exotic locations all over the world and surviving with nothing but a knife and the clothes on his back until he can be rescued? This is your winning idea, my friend. It’s a cross between “Man vs. Wild” and “Survivor”. Imagine it: 30 days on a deserted island in the pacific, in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, in the Gobi desert, in the Australian Outback… with a knife, a water bottle, a flint, the clothes on your back, a trustworthy companion, and the knowledge you have acquired after months of researching your surroundings. This is the ultimate test of survival… a chance to return to nature and challenge man’s most primitive instincts as an adventurer.

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil’s Triangle, is a region of the Atlantic Ocean in which a number of aircraft and surface vessels have disappeared in what are said to be circumstances that fall beyond the boundaries of human error or acts of nature. Some of these disappearances have been attributed to the paranormal, a suspension of the laws of physics, or activity by extraterrestrial beings by popular culture. Although a substantial documentation exists showing numerous incidents to have been inaccurately reported or embellished by later authors, several others remain unexplained. Sounds like a worthy challenge to me…

I had another idea for you, I was just thinking that at least one of your adventures should be a smaller less expensive, 1 day adventure, maybe something that some of the friends of Fluge could do with you. One suggestion would be that maybe you could set up a 1 day class with PRODRIVE, and any F.O.F that would like to participate could pay to race against the “Fluge”. Imagine the chaos that would be caused by Fluge and some of his cronies racing each other wheel to wheel. Who will be the one to beat the “Rose Cup Champion”OR even a Portland Dinner cruise or something where we could hang with the Fluge, even a “Fluge Series of Poker” tournament.

You should be the travel agent and sell some adventures, or something like that. That way instead of just reading about all your cool adventures, some of the F.O.F could actually live a few of Fluge Adventures

Anyway that’s my thought on expanding the Fluge Adventures.

Run the infamous Alaskan challenge from Anchorage to Nome, in total, 1150 miles from start to finish. With elevations from sea level to 3,771 feet and temperatures well below freezing you could finish in as little as 10 days, with the right team. Just think, Fluge himself taking on the Iditarod, packing along with him a list of amazing adventures and a plethora of knowledge. Competitors or “Mushers,” range from doctors and lawyers to fishermen and “Adventurist,” and come from all over the globe to compete. 35 years and running, it is known as “The Last Great Race on Earth” and draws attention from all over the world. One of many to come! Take care.
