A World-Class Tournament
The “Series” is a number of events (over 50) that include single day to multi day tournaments and run from June through July. They are held at the RIO in Las Vegas. Last year Fluge participated in the “Main Event” that drew in excess of 8000 players. Fluge finished his first 15 hours of play with over 15,000 chips - outlasting 6000 players including past champions Phil Helmuth and Doyle Brunson as well as celebrities like Toby McGuire and Jennifer Tilly. He had to attend a corporate board meeting so left while ’still in the game’. His blinds and ante’s slowly sank to zero while in abstentia. He vows to return and play in various of the “Series” events.
